TIMKO MODEL - FLT – 5-ROLLS FLATTENER
The Flattener will be mounted on structural base, right after pinch rolls. It will pull the material off the
uncoiler and feed the material into the Line. The lower rolls will be fixed and upper rolls are raised and
lowered by set of hydraulic cylinders. Flattener Rolls is driven by a Universal Joint connected to the
splitter gear box.

SUPPLIES SERVICES, DOCUMENTATION
The Seller will provide the following: Two (2) sets of maintenance manuals comprising;
(a) General arrangement drawings of each item on the line.
(b) Recommended Spare parts lists of all major purchased items.
(c) Line arrangements drawings showing suggested foundation layout and anchoring details.
(d) Electrical, pneumatic, water and hydraulic schematics, port sizes, flow requirements and pressures.
(e) Interconnection line tabulation to identify any device requiring field wiring and wire sizes.
Delivery : Manufacture complete 3 - 4 months after receipt of firm Purchase Order
and down payment. Depends on TIMKO’s work load at the time of order.

Proposal Prices : 69,500.00 USD - Price firm for thirty (30) days.
Warranty : The proposed equipment is covered by our TIMKO Standard
Warranty, copy attached.
WARRANTY
TIMKO MACHINERY INC. (“Seller”) warrants equipment sold to be free of defects in the material and
workmanship on items of the Seller’s design and manufacture for a period of (12) twelve months after final
acceptance not more than (15) fifteen months after arrival of the equipment. Seller’s liability under this warranty
includes replacing or repairing any parts found on inspection at any time during to be defective and furnishing
any parts necessary to correct engineering defects, without charge to Buyer, F.O.B. shipping point. Seller makes
no warranties on unmodified vendor items not of Seller’s design or manufacture, but Seller will extend to the
Buyer its rights under any warranties which it obtains from the manufacturers thereof. The foregoing constitutes
the exclusive express warranty of Seller and the exclusive liability of Seller for breach of such warranty. There
shall be no liability of Seller to Buyer for failure of the equipment sold herein to perform at a certain output or
capacity, or at an output or capacity greater than that agreed to in writing by Buyer and Seller. Seller shall not
be liable for any consequential damages resulting from defective goods delivered hereunder. Seller shall not be
responsible for unauthorized alterations or damage to the machine or related equipment due to circumstances
beyond Seller’s control.
Any and all warranties made by Seller on any product or part thereof covered by the attached proposal and any
order issued pursuant to the proposal shall be effective only if and for so long as the purchaser complies will all
payment obligations of his accepted and acknowledged order. Failure to meet payment obligations on a product
voids all warranties and shall not extend the period of time for which such product is warranted when payment
is made.
