DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINES THAT COMPRISE THE LINE
Loading Carriage:
- Its purpose is to receive the reels from the crane in the loading position, transport them to the roll holder, and position them on the mandrel. All of this is hydraulically driven.
- Load capacity: 20 tons.
- Vertical travel: 600 mm.
- Transverse travel: 2250 mm.
Cantilever and expandable mobile roll holder:
- Hydraulically expandable mandrel.
- Mandrel motorization.
- Web pressing arm.
- Pneumatic caliper disc brake.
- Sliding base.
- Its expansion is achieved hydraulically by means of a hydraulic cylinder, four expandable sectors fitted in dovetail joints. When the sectors expand, they lock the reel onto them.
- The mandrel is motorized by a gearmotor and brake caliper; the motorization is only used for feeding and collecting excess material. - The strip clamping arm is used to keep the strip adhered when the seal is removed from the reel and to perform raw material feeding maneuvers.
- The braking system consists of a brake disc with three sets of pneumatic clamps to ensure tension at all times.
- The sliding base allows the reel to be centered according to the widths to be processed, all via a hydraulic cylinder.
Features:
- Load capacity: 20 tons.
- Maximum strip width: 1525 mm.
- Mandrel diameter: 475–525 mm.
- Maximum coil diameter: 1800 mm.
- Axial centering stroke: 300 mm.
- Gearmotor power: 3 kW.
Flattening Machine:
- The purpose of this equipment is to flatten the coiled steel strip from the rolling mill. As the strip passes through the rollers, it loses the effects produced by the winding process. This first produces a small amount of deribbing and then flattens it, thus ensuring the necessary flatness.
Main Features:
- Useful strip width: 1500 mm.
- Strip thickness: 0.5 to 2.5 mm.
- Number of flattening rollers: 19.
- Roller diameter: 45 mm.
- Number of counter rollers: 19.
- Counter roller diameter: 40 mm.
- Number of support rows: 7+7.
- Number of counter roller supports: 175.
- Working speed: 10 to 20 m/min.
- Main motor power: 30 hp AC
- Adjustment motor power: Two 3 hp motors / 1500 rpm
- Lubrication motor power: 0.35 kW
- Net weight: 11 tons
Loop-forming pit tables:
- Table on which the loop-forming strip is stored during the format cutting process. All movement is hydraulic and includes rollers.
Oscillating blade shear for format cutting:
- Static machine that cuts the format using an oscillating system and a clutch that controls the start and stop of the cut.
Main features:
- Number of strokes in a continuous cycle: 140 /min.
- Number of clutches: 30 /min.
- Maximum thickness to be cut: 3 mm
- Motor power: 7.5 hp
Measuring and evacuation table:
- This table measures the format and evacuates it once it has been cut in the shear. It has a conveyor belt driven by motorized rollers.
Main features:
- Useful width: 1500 mm
- Maximum cutting length: 4000 mm
- Travel speed: 25 m/min
- Installed power: 4 hp
